MyDreamGPT ("we", "us", "our") operates the MyDreamGPT mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the App. Please read this policy carefully. By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide
- Account Information: Email address used for authentication via Microsoft Entra External ID (email one-time passcode).
- Dream Descriptions: Text or voice descriptions of your dreams that you submit for interpretation.
- User Preferences: Language preference (English or Turkish) and subscription tier selection.
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Usage Data: App interactions, feature usage, and session duration collected via Azure Application Insights for service improvement and reliability monitoring.
- Device Information: Device type, operating system version, and a unique correlation ID for request tracing. No device identifiers are stored permanently.
- Advertising Data: If you use the free tier, Google AdMob may collect advertising identifiers (IDFA/GAID) and usage data to serve personalized or contextual ads. See Google's Privacy Policy for details.
2.3 Voice Data
If you use the voice input feature (premium only), your audio recording is transmitted to Azure Speech Services for transcription. Audio data is processed in real time and is not stored by Microsoft after transcription. The resulting text is treated as a dream description.
3. How We Use Your Information
- Dream Interpretation: Your dream descriptions are sent to Azure AI Foundry (GPT-5.4-nano for free tier, GPT-5.4 for premium) to generate interpretations. We do not use your dreams to train AI models.
- Account Management: To authenticate you, manage your subscription, and maintain your dream history.
- Service Improvement: Aggregated, anonymized usage telemetry helps us improve app performance and reliability.
- Advertising: Free-tier users see ads served by Google AdMob. Ad targeting is managed by Google based on their policies.
- Subscription Management: RevenueCat processes subscription purchases. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
4. Data Storage and Retention
- Dream Data: Your dreams and interpretations are stored in Azure Cosmos DB in the Sweden Central region. Data is retained until you delete it or delete your account.
- Account Data: Email address and subscription status are retained for the duration of your account.
- Telemetry Data: Application Insights data is retained for 30 days.
- Voice Data: Audio recordings are processed in real time and not stored after transcription.

We implement industry-standard security measures including:
- HTTPS encryption for all data in transit.
- Azure Key Vault for secret management.
- Managed Identity for service-to-service authentication.
- Rate limiting on all API endpoints.
- Security headers (HSTS, X-Frame-Options, Content-Type-Options).
- Secure token storage on mobile devices (Expo SecureStore).
While we strive to protect your information, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access: View your stored dreams and account information within the App.
- Delete: Delete individual dreams or all dream data from the Settings screen.
- Portability: Request a copy of your data by contacting us.
- Withdrawal: Delete your account at any time, which removes all associated data.
- Opt-out of Ads: Upgrade to premium to remove all advertising.
8. Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
9. International Data Transfers
Your data is processed and stored in the Sweden Central Azure region (EU). If you access the App from outside the EU, your data will be transferred to and processed in Sweden. By using the App, you consent to this transfer.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

Dream interpretations provided by MyDreamGPT are generated by artificial intelligence and are for entertainment and personal reflection purposes only. They do not constitute medical, psychological, or professional advice. We make no warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any interpretation. Use of the App is at your own risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MyDreamGPT and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App.
We recommend consulting a licensed professional for any health, psychological, or legal concerns. Legal review of this policy is recommended before production use.
